Maja is an art historian, art curator and artist living and working in Amsterdam. She studied Conservation and Restoration, as well as Painting and Printmaking, and holds a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts and a PhD in Art History. Her professional background includes experience and expertise in the field of higher education, teaching and research, alongside working on her own art and exhibiting paintings and prints internationally. Maja has a special interest in the creative process, art techniques, and materials - essentially, how a specific artwork was created. With her multidisciplinary knowledge she gives unique insights and perspectives of the masterpieces in the most important museums in The Netherlands.
