FIND A WALK
Working with Context
Context is a network of scholars and specialists and this network is constantly growing. Our docents, no matter what their field of expertise, are gifted educators and love to share their knowledge and passion with others. If you are an expert in one of our disciplines (archaeology, art history, cuisine, urban planning, history, environmental science, and classics) and live, or will be residing for at least six months, in one of our cities, feel free to send us your CV and let us know what kind of topics you can hold forth on.
Context has a small, but dynamic management team located in three regional offices (Rome, Paris and Philadelphia). We are rarely (but sometimes) hiring staff for our offices. Positions in Context's management offer a challenging, creative and varied work environment. If you think you would be a good candidate to organize our walking seminars, manage our docents, and help our clients in any of these locations, by all means, let us know.
We have openings for seasonal interns throughout the year. Our interns have a diverse academic background from Art History to Museum Studies to Tourism and Management and work on a variety of projects including cultural research and writing, social media, video-making and marketing. If you would like to learn more about what we do and help us out in the process, then let us know when, where, and what you're interested in learning.
We'll do our best to find a spot for you.
"My internship was an incredibly positive experience, and I enjoyed working with the team at Context. Sharpening my visual media skills was one of the greatest gifts I took away from this experience, as well as the thoughtful professional advice of my immediate supervisor." Claire T.- Intern at Context in 2009
"My internship in the French Office was extremely informative and allowed me to practice my theoretical knowledge.
Being specialized in international trade, it allowed me to touch on several fields at once, such as marketing but also accounting and project management. In addition, it taught me to be able to adapt to any situation. I thank all the team of Context for teaching me so much!" - Alexandre D. Intern at Context in 2010
