One of the best ways to view the City of Light is cruising along the River Seine. Context Paris has partnered with la Compagnie de la Seine to offer you the best vantage point for admiring the city's monuments, on a two-hour gastronomic dinner cruise aboard the elegant bateau Capitaine Fracasse.
The Capitaine Fracasse prides itself on quality. Its recently remodeled decor provides a comfortable dining environment. Departing from near the Eiffel Tower, you will gently cruise by the cities key sites at a more leisurely pace then regular boat cruises. In between courses, you can take a stroll on the upper-deck for a closer look at the passing sites.
Chef Martial, distinguished with the prestigious Meilleur Ouvrier de France award, designs his three-course menus using seasonal ingredients and the entire meal is prepared aboard by his team. The menu usually consists of a selection of starters, a main course of either fish or red meat followed by an assortment of mini deserts. You have the choice of a menu with water (the Fracasse Menu at 50 euros), a menu with an aperatif cocktail, 1/4 bottle of wine, water and coffee (Amiral Menu at 70 euros), or a menu with a 1/2 bottle of champagne, water and coffee (Champagne Menu at 80 euros). Please select your choice in the box on the right–the price will be adjusted accordingly when we process your order. Children's menu (40 euros) and vegetarian options are also available (please request this in your trip notes.)
If you wish to be seated next to the window, there is a 12 euros/person surcharge. To be seated at the front of the boat is an extra 15 euros/person. Please add this note in the special requests box.
