Paris Wine Tasting and Dinner Cruises
Many visitors come to France to discover its gastronomy and wine. Rich in history and tradition, these refined products can also be intimidating to approach for foreigners. The sommeliers of Ô-Chateau aim to break down some of these boundaries during their 2 hour introduction to French wine tasting classes.
Your experience will take place in the Ô-Chateau Caves du Paradis, the former personal cellars of King Louis XV's sommelier, which were linked to the Louvre by a series of tunnels. In this unique venue, you will get to the heart of French wines with a bilingual sommelier. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun and adapted to new or seasoned connaisseurs. Each tasting, limited to 20 participants, involves a good overview of the main wine producing regions, their characteristics and what differentiates them, how to read wine labels and tasting techniques. At the end of your tasting, Ô-Chateau provides you will a useful handout and they also run a small wine shop, selling a selection of the wines featured during the tastings and other interesting labels.
