Private Tours and Walking Tours of Paris: The Context Difference

Context tours are crafted for those with a thirst for knowledge and a love for exploration. We run over 30 different guided tours, including Paris tours for kids, food tours, and art museum tours. What's our favorite? Well, it's hard to go wrong with our private Paris Chocolate tour, an intellectually curious look at the world-conquering sweet that covers everything from how such an innocuous bean became so beloved to why Paris might be the best city for chocolate in the world.

We also love our Musee d'Orsay Tour with an art historian, covering one of the most exciting and noteworthy periods of art. If we're feeling bohemian, let's alight to the 18th arr. for a tour of Montmartre – where we'll learn all about Lautrec, Picasso, and the rest of the avant-garde community of the late-19th and early-20th century. Our Paris walking tours are personalized experiences with leading experts in French History, Art, and Culture.

Sean was very personable and engaging and very knowledgeable about Hemingway and with many interesting facts about the Lost Generation. We had a delightful tour and later we returned to the famous literary restaurants of Hemingway and Gertrude Stein. We were very satisfied with our tour, especially the high level and depth of intellectual discussion about the many American authors who lived in Paris in the 1920s.
Marie was AMAZING! Super personable, sharp, and definitely knows how to put together some delicious food pairings, and explain them. Only wish is that we would have booked her for the full day!
Marie-Ange was a wonderful guide for our visit to the Louvre! We were able to see so much and it was an amazing experience!
