The Accademia's small space creates an intimacy that, as long as it isn't packed with tourists, adds to the awesome larger-than-life quality of the David. The gallery also houses an interesting (if small) collection of ancient Roman sculpture and medieval painting.

Next to the Uffizi, the Accademia has some of the worst lines in all of Florence, and reservations are particularly recommended in the Spring and Summer months when the wait can become especially mind-numbing. Please use the form below to request one. You will be charged €10 to make and hold your reservation. Your tickets will cost €6.50 each, plus a 3 € reservation fee per person. These fees will be payable directly to the museums when you arrive to pick up your tickets on the day of the appointment.
