two-day immersion in Istanbul
During this 2½-day package of various small-group walking seminars and other travel services, we'll introduce you to Istanbul through the lens of the scholars who know it best. We start with a light introduction and then delve into a series of different walks on a variety of topics, touching on the major time periods from late Roman, through Byzantine, Ottoman, and to the present.
Choose from walks that focus on the main monuments of the historic or go off the beaten path to discover the hidden side streets of such evocative neighborhoods as Pera and Balat as you shape the mini trip that meets your interests.
