The following alumni have, at one time or another, led walks for us. Today they've moved on to teaching positions or further research or simply back to defend their dissertations. They remain connected to our organization in a variety of ways, from writing articles to advising on walks and the continued development of Context. They are, in a very real sense, family.

Lisa Rubenstein Calevi holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan and a M.A. in Italian Renaissance Art History from the Syracuse University Florence Fellowship Program. She has lectured in the United States at the Cultural Institute of the Italian Consulate, the Museo Italo Americano, and San Francisco State University. In Italy, she has lectured for the University of California, the University of Virginia, the University of Georgia, Syracuse University, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Museo dell’Opera del Duomo. Lisa lived in Verona for 11 years and recently returned to the US where she will be teaching as an adjunct professor at the University of Oregon. Lisa will also soon be featured in an upcoming documentary on the Ghetto of Venice produced by a major cable network. She maintains strong professional and personal ties to Venice, and looks forward to continued collaboration with Context Venice.
