The Veneto has a rich and varied culture attached to its cities. From the university city of Padua to the quaint charm of Verona, this walk will help visitors get acquainted with the city of their choice and prioritize their time there.
Our Introduction to the Veneto walk is designed to help you get situated on your arrival. Our docent, an orienteer and city resident who knows the Veneto well, will meet you at your hotel and take you on a 2-hour walk of the immediate surroundings. (Unless, of course, you are staying someplace remote or in an area of minimal interest, in which case we'll set up a meeting point to explore the area of your choice.)
This is not a scholarly walk. It is meant to give you a broad introduction and taste of Veneto on your first day. The discussion may veer towards life in the Veneto, where to find the best spritz, or current Italian politics.
The cost of this tour is priced for a group of six people. We sometimes allow for groups as large as eight people, for which we charge 20 Euros for each additional person. This will automatically be calculated when you "checkout". For groups larger than eight we require that you split into two smaller groups.
