Deep, Engaging, Tailored: The Tour for Everyone in Your Party

Conversations, not umbrella tours

"Tim was great. Knowledgeable. Cheeky. Motivating. It was a wonderful tour. We could have talked for hours. This is the exact reason small groups are the best. One on one, non scripted information from a dedicated and knowledgeable professional. Thank you, Tim."

Experts, not guides

“William literally writes the book(s) on the D-Day memorials which led to an incredibly informative day tour. From age 77 to 11, we were all captivated by his knowledge and his ability to connect the dots.”

Tailored, not one-size fits all

“Fantastic way to learn or refresh your understanding of key aspects of the history of Britain... One of the great things about a Context private tour is your guide. You can tailor your experience to your group's individual interests. This was our third Context tour. We are 3 for 3 in terms of top shelf guides, each very knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommended!"

We had a lovely day with Marie guiding us through the Palace of Versailles! Her background and knowledge of the history and art were extremely impressive. We had our 8 year old son with us and so, it was alot of information, but Marie tried to keep him engaged as much as possible. We appreciated her and would recommend an afternoon with Marie as your guide enthusiastcially and without hesitation.
The four of us loved our morning with Gabrielle! She shared her knowledge of history in Paris during WW2 along with personal stories about her family during that time. We are a group of 4 70-ish travelers with decent walking ability - but we were at the end of two full weeks of long walking tours. When I booked the tour, I asked if the walking distance could be modified for us. Gabrielle was awesome. She supplied rest breaks on benches while she continued talking with us, and she shortened the route without omitting any information. We feel like we have a friend in Paris now. We highly recommend Gabrielle!

Tessy was amazing! We got the “authentic” neighborhood tapas experience. Her culinary experience and knowledge of truly local history was amazing.
