Nikita was amazing! We wished that we had done his tour at the beginning of our stay in Athens rather than the last night. The Plaka was beautiful and vibrant and Nikita knew just about everyone. He’s a wonderful man and a delight to be with. The food and wine were exceptional.
Anthi was a great guide, very informative and passionate. We would have enjoyed even more time to ask her about her own research, which sounded very interesting! To anyone wanting to visit Plato's Academy because they have a special interest in philosophy or history, I highly recommend this tour. There are almost no signs at the site (those that are there are heavily graffitied) so it was really helpful to have a guide to provide so much additional context. As a side note, the tour should probably be named Plato in Athens instead as that would be more accurate. Thank you Anthi for being such a great guide and really enriching our experience at Plato's Academy!
Loved our private tour… great for both kids & adults!
