FAQ About the La Boqueria Market Tour
Though Catalan food is traditionally meat- and seafood-based, we will taste some items that do not contain animal products. If you would like to customize the tour to fully meet your dietary needs, we recommend booking a private tour.
Some of the shops we visit are small and many will have a step up to access them. The general route may include small streets with narrow sidewalks; please contact us if you have any questions regarding accessibility. We are also happy to design a private, customized tour for visitors with mobility concerns.
Samuel was born in Caracas, Venezuela in a Jewish family, and has previously lived in the USA, Europe, The Middle East, and South Asia. He does not consider himself a citizen of any country, rather a citizen of the world. Cultural exchanges, meaningful experiences and moments of inspiration and connection are what he hopes to co-create in his walks. He does this through his professional experience as a cultural anthropologist. He is passionate about the intricate and fascinating ways that people give meaning to their lives through traditions, rituals, histories, and symbols. He aims to share this in his Context walking seminars.
