Tour Description
Thanks for thinking of Context for your custom tour! While we always recommend to first consider one of our painstakingly crafted curated tours readily available and bookable right on our website, we know that sometimes you have an itch that requires that extra bit of uniqueness to scratch. In those cases, a custom tour could be a great option for you. Please note, custom tours are an added benefit that we offer to clients who have an order minimum of $2,500 USD. Due to the high level of attention and time needed to fulfill custom tour requests, this is not something we can offer on a one-off basis.
As part of our custom tour design process, we require a $250 non-refundable deposit so that our custom tour specialists and experts can work with you to create your perfect day. Once your tour is fully booked this deposit will be applied to the cost of your tour. Should you choose ultimately not to book the tour, this deposit will be considered a custom planning fee and will be used to compensate our experts and staff for their time. Of course, should we not be able to deliver the custom tour you've requested, we will refund your deposit.

- Alternative dates and times that would work for your group (sometimes that perfect expert isn't available on the exact day or time you want so knowing your flexibility upfront will speed up the process. If you're including other Context tours we'll assume you're open to switching the order of this tour with those, but if you have particular thoughts there, let us know!) Also any particular restrictions, like relevant booked dinner reservations or planned transport into or out of the city, is helpful to include.
- Car transfer if requested, please provide your hotel information so that we can make sure to have your driver be able to pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.

- Anything else you think is pertinent! Are you a history buff? Do you have mobility concerns? Do you have kids on the tour who love dinosaurs? The more we know about your interests the better prepared our experts can be to truly give you a personalized experience you won't soon forget.
It's worth remembering - Context does not make hotel or dinner reservations. Your full-day tour will likely include a stop for lunch. Your expert will come prepared with options for you. It is typical for clients to treat their experts to this mid-day lunch although it's not required.
Once we've received your deposit our custom tour design team will get to work crafting your itinerary. When they've confirmed your details they will reach out to the email associated with this order with the details and final pricing and ask for a confirmation to charge the card on file for the remaining balance.
