Adam gave our family a tremendous introduction to Edinburgh and we greatly enjoyed his company too. He is only slightly older than our two young adult kids and his infectious passion, flexibility, and deep knowledge of Scottish history, culture, politics, law, literature, you name it, meant that we covered so much ground in a short time and came away much the richer and with a whole new understanding and perspective, eager to learn more.
We absolutely loved this tour for our first visit to Edinburgh. Kate was an incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and fun guide who made sure to tailor the tour to our interests, which could have been challenging, given that we were a group of 7 ranging in age from late 20s to early 80s! But Kate was amazing and we loved and appreciated our time with her. Would happily recommend her and this tour to anyone :)
Hugh was brilliant! Passionate and extremely knowledgeable. It was as if I spent the day with my favorite grad school professor. He did a beautiful job of conveying his love of Scotland, its people and certainly its history. I am very grateful for the day I shared under his tutelage.
