Bert was an outstanding guide with a deep knowledge of Portuguese history, architecture, politics, art and culture. He provided an excellent overview which helped us put the city and the region in context. We could have spent the entire day with him!

Our walking tour with Tiago was absolutely wonderful in every way! The tour started in Bairro Alto went through Chiado, and ended in Baixa. As we weaved through these areas in Lisbon we couldn't have known to look for or appreciate the layers of rich history and culture that Tiago shared with us during this glorious day out in Lisbon....we learned so much and left with a sense of understanding more about Lisbon and Portugal through the lens of a native who loves his country and city. He has a gift of pointing out details you wouldn’t see especially about the different architectural styles that is his expertise and weaving stories about the history and drawing it all together to make a very concrete impression of our exposure to the sights of Lisbon. All of this while making the time we had together so much fun! We would never felt the miles we walked as he kept things so engaging and connected throughout our time together.
