Sintra is magical (even when it rains). Estela was a wonderful guide. She has her degree in art history and is also very knowledgeable about Portuguese history. It was a treat to go to Sintra with her. She did a great job of pointing out details that we would definitely have missed. Pena Palace is a truly magnificent work of architecture. Biester Palace was a work of art (such intricate woodwork and art work). And the Royal Summer Palace was a bit of a stark contrast but the kitchen is not to be missed. Thank you Estela and Context.

Our Day In Lisbon tour was amazing! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He went out of his way to understand what we were looking to get out of the tour and provided in-depth details about the history of Lisbon. Every location fit perfectly into the context of the tour. After finishing the tour, we had a much better understanding of the history of Lisbon. We definitely felt like we were able to see so much of Lisbon in one tour. Even though it was pretty much raining the entire time we were on the tour, our guide did such a good job of keeping everything moving efficiently and almost unnoticeable. The rain really did not affect much at all. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lisbon. I am sure all the guides are great, but a special shout out to our guide Zé! He was amazing and his architectural background made the tour even more interesting.
