Our time at the British Museum with Alan was a highlight of our trip! His background in Classics and Art made him a perfect tour guide, and the three hours flew by, as he shared all sorts of anecdotes with us. The British Museum is so enormous, and we knew it'd be helpful to have someone show us some of it. Although we'd signed up for a small group tour, our family of 3 was solo with Alan. He also did a great job of engaging our 14-year-old who loves history. Fabulous tour with Alan!

Wow! We had the most fabulous day with Imogen! Context has always been terrific (we took two Context tours in Paris in 2018), and this tour was a perfect way to start off our vacation. We wanted to do this on our first full day in London, but as it was a Saturday, Westminster Abbey wasn't possible. So Context worked with us to create an ideal itinerary which started at the Tower of London and finished with the Churchill War Rooms. From the first moment, Imogen was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She helped us get our Oyster cards for the tube, and made sure our history-buff 14-year-old was engaged the whole time. Throughout the day, she gave us options in terms of our itinerary (walk or take the bus? Where should we have lunch?) She was so interesting and enthusiastic, and we really enjoyed spending the day with her. It set us up for a tremendous week in London. Thank you, Imogen!

Sarah was a wonderful guide - extremely knowledgeable, witty & charming. She made the (bloody) history come alive and gave us a great insight into British past and present. Highly recommendable!
