Mitch holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in History and Philosophy from the University of Paris, Sorbonne. His passion for urban history began during his 7 years in Paris, where he worked in his spare time as a city guide and teacher of history and philosophy. His scholarly work has focused on theories of truth as they express themselves in art, literature and theology. Since moving to New York City 12 years ago, he has authored four books on east coast cities, and actively pursues his side-passions for composing classical music (he recently premiered his second opera), and photography (his work has appeared in the New York Times, The New Yorker and Time, amongst other
August Runge has over a decade of experience in art and architecture education. He has coordinated various aspects of international design programs on four continents and over a dozen countries. His interests are in American campus design and contemporary architecture. He currently lives and works in New York City.
Meyken Barreto is an art writer and curator, she graduated from Art History at Havana University. She had been professor at Havana University and San Geronimo College in Havana. She has taught Art History from Prehistoric to Contemporary Art at Havana University. She also taught History of Art and Architecture at San Geronimo College in the same city. Meyken has lectured in international institutions such as Universidad Complutense in Madrid and Martin Luther University, Halle (Saale). In New York her previous positions include Regional Director at Artist Pension Trust and Gallery Manager at Y Gallery. Barreto regularly curates exhibitions of contemporary art and contributes to art magazines.
