Diana could not have been a better guide. We loved spending a few hours with her. I think she is probably our favorite of all the guides we have had with context through the years. I would request that you make it clear in your description that the tour only includes one drink, and really there is not time to have drinks at each of the places we visited. It would also be great to add an hour and have a little lesson in cocktails, what each ingredient category adds to a drink, how to balance the ingredients, etc. With sips of each type of drink to help understand how the ingredient impacts the drink. For example, what do bitters really bring to the cocktail? How does the taste change with and without bitters? This would be a natural extension of the tour. We have taken a number of tours through context and this is one of the most enjoyable we have had.
As a long-time fan of Context, I always have very high expectations. However, this tour crashed through the ceiling; everything about the tour was excellent.
Chantal was nice, personable and an expert. It's refreshing to have a tour not done by a person getting through college stumbling through their lines but by a real person not reading from a script. An expert. It felt like hanging out with a really smart friend.
