Don't just see - learn to read and interpret art

"This was the first time that my husband and two [teens] had been exposed to art the way it should be. Pablo is very knowledgeable, no doubt. But he was particularly outstanding in how engaging and interactive he made the visit for all of us. You could not help but share the passion he has for art and history and for helping others understand how to see and interpret the pieces. We only had time to see a minimal sample of all the Louvre has to offer, of course, but the lessons we learned will serve us for life - and I am especially grateful that my [teens] have this gift from this trip. Forget the cheap souvenir shopping - this is the stuff no one can take away from you!"

A thoughtfully designed itinerary for novices and seasoned art lovers alike

"Would have been utterly lost in the Louvre without this tour. Saw all the 'highlights' but also a lot of other things which I would never have been drawn to - largely as I have very little knowledge around art history. Excellent explanations of how to interpret the paintings."

Tailored to your interests

"I appreciated the fact that Charlotte had read and remembered the few details I had provided about my sons and myself - she took us to see Hammurabi's Code in part because my older son is starting law school this fall - and asked about particular areas of interest and let our responses shape the second half of the tour."

With so many works of art and so many pieces, we really appreciated our tour with Thibaud. Firstly, he has an excellent command of art, history and aesthetic so he put together a running commentary of how art in the earliest ages served as the back job for later developments. Intertwined was not only an appreciation for the pieces, but context within the setting of culture at the time. Secondly, he has a wonderful personality and is very facial with English. Thirdly, just as a sides, we learned a lot about what it means to live in a French society today. The whole experience was wonderful and the time flew by really quickly. We were able to spend time after the tour to go back and dwell in other areas of the Louvre that the tour did not encompass. All told, well worth it! We would also use Thibaud again for another tour without a doubt.
Our tour today was informative and well-paced. Our guide shared her passion for art and left us with a richer understanding of the history.
Sandrine was phenomenal!
