The express tour did exactly what we wanted at Versailles, a place we had both visited but not recently: give us the highlights, get us past the lines, and tell us a few things we did not know. Marcela was good at this, and also gave us a great and unique gift idea that we capitalized on!

My husband and I brought a friend along, and while we'd all been to Paris before, it had been quite a few years. Lily's tour was a great way to get reacquainted with the city and some of its most famous sights. We started on Île Saint-Louis and Île de la Cité, then walked past Notre-Dame, through the Latin Quarter, and on to the Louvre and Palais Royal. Along the way, Lily shared plenty of French history, architecture, and culture, covering everything from Roman times to Emily in Paris! She also took some great photos of us with Notre-Dame in the background and along the Seine, and gave us some excellent tips on where to eat and shop afterward. We had a wonderful time with Lily and would highly recommend her tour!
My husband and I were staying in the Marais and really enjoyed getting to know the neighborhood better with Michael. He's incredibly knowledgeable about Parisian architecture and took us through the history of the area, from its medieval and Renaissance roots to its Jewish heritage and more recent prominence as the city's LGBT neighborhood. Because the Marais is one of the few parts of Paris that largely escaped Haussmann's redevelopment, you get a fascinating look at how the city evolved over the centuries. Michael did a great job tying it all together and also shared some excellent shopping and restaurant recommendations along the way. A really interesting tour, and Michael was a pleasure to spend the morning with. Highly recommend!
