We had the most wonderful private tour with Barbara during our stay in Salzburg! While the Sound of Music filming locations were certainly a highlight, Barbara made the experience so much richer than we ever expected. With our private driver, we traveled through Salzburg and the beautiful lake district, visiting many of the iconic filming locations while enjoying the spectacular countryside along the way. Barbara shared fascinating stories about the film, but also gave us such wonderful insight into Salzburg itself—its history, churches and architecture, the archbishops who shaped the city and built its magnificent palaces, and so many details we never would have discovered on our own. We ended our tour in the beautiful Mirabell Gardens, and Barbara then walked with us through Salzburg’s charming Old Town and escorted us all the way back to our hotel. It was such a lovely and thoughtful way to finish the day. Barbara was warm, knowledgeable, engaging, and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. We came away not only loving the Sound of Music locations, but with a much greater appreciation for Salzburg, its history, and its extraordinary beauty. We absolutely loved our time with Barbara and would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Salzburg! ❤️

Karin showed us Salzburg in only a way a local that has been there her whole life. It was a fast three hours but was able to soak in the whole town and culture. I would recommend Karin to anyone!!

Our tour was everything that we had hoped for and more. Igor was fantastic. His personality and depth of knowledge brought the whole day together. We will highly recommend Context and Igor in particular to everyone when we get home. The experience was worth every penny.
