About Tatiana
Archaeology is Tatiana's passion and fortunately also her work. She started working in Peru 4 years ago, since that first work on a dig, she has worked in Sudan and Spain. Tatiana did a masters on pre-Colombian art, then another in human bio-archaeology. She specializes in human bones and mummies, ranging from their height and weight through to their cultural behavior, diet and illnesses. Tatiana did her masters' thesis on dental anthropology of ancient groups in the Andes, aiming to understand where the populations came from. She also studied journalism, and have therefore learned to process and disseminate information to all audiences. Tatiana traveled a great deal, and grew up in a very socially diverse environment, which allowed her to be trilingual in Spanish, French and English. She is familiar with lecturing and presenting research, and is fortunate in knowing Dr Lawrence Owens who has shared with me some of his tricks for leading tours at the British Museum!
