Our expert was 5 stars in every way. She was very knowledgeable, easy to be with and navigated us through a six-hour tour with ease and grace. Her narrative was not only educational but fun and enlightening. She moved us through the city with ease and at the end of the day felt like a friend!   – Kim, October 2022

Dan was SO knowledgeable - and able to adapt the tour to our specific interests with hardly a break in the action. Really terrific tour!
Great introduction to Lisbon tour with Ian! We were running a bit late trying to navigate the unfamiliar streets of Lisbon, but communication with Context Tours was top notch and they were able to ensure that everything would go as planned. We met at the pre-arranged spot and enjoyed a pleasant meet and greet over a coffee. Weather to start was rainy so it was a few minutes well spent getting to know each other till the rain cleared. Ian is a pro at touring and provided some really interesting and useful information about the city. The earthquake fires, some of his favorite spots in Lisbon were fascinating. Similar to other Context tours we took, the information that Ian shared with us suited us well for our entire stay. Great knowledge of the history of the city as well as the restaurants and shops. In addition to the landmark and hidden gems, Ian provided valuable suggestions to use for the rest of our tour. We would highly recommend Ian to get your toes wet when visiting Lisbon
The Gothic tour with Cornel was as described and more. We started with a meet and greet and hit it off right away. It was our first full day and a perfect tour and guide to get acquainted with Barcelona. The pace was perfect for my wife and i (both in our early 60's). Cornel's knowledge and explanations are a reflection of his vocation as a university professor. There were several bits of information that we were able to carry with us later on our trip. Especially the story of St. George and the day of books and roses (Catalonian Valentines Day). Cornell took time to explain to us the architecture and history of the buildings we passed by on our tour. Would highly recomment Cornell for your introduction to Barcelona. Well worth it.
