Eddy is a native of Rome. He holds Bachelor's, Master's and Specialization degrees cum laude in Roman Archaeology from the Sapienza University of Rome, as well as a PhD in Roman Archaeology from The University of Southampton. He has taken part in various excavations both within Rome and in other sites in Italy. His research interests range from ancient Roman architecture and decor to ancient Roman economy and trade to Latin Pagan burial inscriptions. Eddy has been a licensed tour guide since 2009 and leads all his tours with the same enthusiasm and energy as the first time, with the intention of sharing his clear passion for his native city. In addition to this, he also published two novels in Italian and was a pro tennis player in his youth.
