Greg, a native of Budapest, is a PhD Candidate at the University of Manchester with a special focus on contemporary Hungarian politics and political history. He holds a BA in Chinese Studies from University ELTE, and two MAs in Politics and Political Economy from the University of Manchester. As an avid traveller, Greg lived in Mainland China and the UK for over a decade, where he worked in education and tourism. After running his own company for several years, Greg decided to pursue his love of politics, culture, and history and started a PhD. Marrying his enthusiasm for discussing ideas and history with presenting the various faces of Budapest, Greg focuses on personalised walks for travellers who wish to understand the complex but exciting politics, culture, and history of Budapest and Hungary. Greg is also a father of an amazing 3-year-old, which is why he is also continually developing his expertise in family-friendly Budapest.
