Born and raised on the foot hills of the Acropolis, Ifigenia has developed an enthusiasm, not only for the mythology, but for the little local stories of this multi-layered city. She graduated with a BA in History and Archaeology from the University of Athens, and an MLitt in Social Archaeology of the Mediterranean from the University of Glasgow. For the first part of her life, she worked as an active archaeologist and an ancient greek and ancient history tutor. But it's wasn't until around ten years ago, when she became a guide, that she found her true calling. Ifigenia enjoys unraveling the lives of real people, past and present, with her guests.
