Can we remove the car service and do this as a walking-only tour?
No, this tour was designed with a car service as the visit covers a lot of ground and hits all of the major neighborhoods and sites in the city. Additionally, it can get quite hot during the Argentinean summer, and it is a better option to have a car at your disposal to give you some respite from the baking city sidewalks. We are certain you won’t regret this portion of your tour!

My wife and I greatly our day tour of Buenos Aires with Santiago and our driver Mattias. When we were finished, we felt like we were parting ways with an old friend. His understanding of the history of the city really helped us become acquainted with Argentina on our first visit. We all also were greatly amused to find out that one of Santiago’s favorite American TV shows is The Office and we’re from Scranton.
Andrea was amazing! Her knowledge of all aspects of Argentinian life and culture was extensive- so impressed! Our driver and van were wonderful. We had the best time and would do this tour and many more with Andrea whenever possible.
This was a great way to see the city in a single day, and in our case the emphasis was on architecture in the city, but could take a different angle depending on the guide and personal interests. Juan was excellent - interesting, good pacing, curious about us and our experience.
