A native Lyonnaise, Magali Clémençon has been a guide and lecturer since 2001, sharing her knowledge and offering a local's perspective of living in Lyon. She holds degrees in Tourism and Art History, as well as in Wine Studies from the University of Burgundy's Institute of Vine and Wine. Curious by nature, she has traveled the world and is passionate about the history of civilizations, meeting people, and speaking foreign languages. Particularly interested in WWII, she leads regular tours and gives lectures on the Resistance. She was rewarded in March 2018 by the City of Lyon for her documentary "Montluc, 1943-1944, 24 words of detained by the gestapo".
