Frequently Asked Questions
If your group prefers to visit the recently erupted Geldingadalur volcano we would be obliged to remove other Reykjanes sites due to timing. This volcano is no longer erupting but visiting the cooled lava rock (newest land on the planet) is quite the experience. If you would like to visit Geldingadalur, please reach out and we will do our best to accommodate.
Can I bring my child on this tour?
Most of this tour is appropriate for children, however the Blue Lagoon does not permit access to children under the age of 2, and the Lava Tunnel does not permit children under the age of 3. If you are travelling with a young child, please check out our other Iceland excursions.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Lunch is not included in the price of this tour, however we have several different options to propose for a lunch stop which can be chosen according to your restrictions. If you have severe allergies, please let us know in advance.
Yes, when possible we will pick you up just outside of your hotel. Please note: certain streets in Reykjavik are restricted for vehicle access, and in certain cases, particular vehicle sizes are also restricted. Teitur was able to rearrange our trip in the morning to fit our needs for the tour.
Holly was fantastic. Wonderful person. Kind. Engaging. Knowledgeable! Things to bring should probably include a bathing suit for tours with the Blue Lagoon (we had them).
