About Anastasia

Anastasia is a historian by education and a certified guide in Oslo. She has a deep knowledge of political and cultural history, along with strong interests in art, architecture, and urban development. In addition to guiding, she works as a translator, including translating publications on art history. Anastasia particularly enjoys leading themed tours that trace Oslo’s development through its architecture — from the medieval ruins of Gamlebyen and the wooden houses of Kampen to the garden cities of the early 20th century, the Jugend-style gems of Frogner, and the modern skyline of Bjørvika. She also leads museum tours and has a special fondness for the National Museum. Anastasia speaks English, Spanish, and Russian fluently.
