Christiane is a licensed Tour Guide in Florence and Conservator of Paintings on canvas and panel. She came to Florence in 1991, inspired by the beauty of the city, to study Art History and the Conservation of Paintings. After years of training in one of the most important Restoration and Conservation centers in the world, she graduated with a degree in Painting Restoration on canvas and panel, and started working to improve the art of restoration throughout different important studios in Florence, in museums like the Uffizi Gallery and Galleria Palatina, and in private collections. In 2007, Christiane became a licensed Florence Tour Guide and she has been making the gems of historical art accessible to interested visitors from all over the world ever since.
