About Diane
Diane is a Vancouver-born chef, teacher, food writer and expert in hosting international visitors. Her culinary experience includes formal training at the Cordon Bleu in London, living and cooking around the world, teaching in a wide range of cooking schools, and working in the kitchen of Bishop's, one of Vancouver's top restaurants. Outside of the food industry, Diane has a Masters of Arts in Intercultural Communication and has designed and led international student and professional learning exchanges in Vancouver. Now settled within a short walk of Granville Island Market, Diane shops there almost daily and has come to know many of the vendors and the best sources for produce and ingredients in the peak of their season. Guiding visitors and offering tastes of Vancouver-based products is an extension of her daily life. She is also currently embarking on a cookbook project, transitioning the body of work on her blog <a href="http://nourishingvancouver.com/">Nourishing Vancouver</a> to a step-by-step guide to hosting dinner parties.
