Joppe, known as “Llop” in Spain, is a Dutch historian who moved to Valencia for love. He introduces himself as “Llop” to avoid pronunciation difficulties his Dutch name can cause. After spending years sharing the stories of cities throughout The Netherlands, he moved to Valencia with his wife and became a licensed Tour Guide. With a Master’s Degree in History and a particular love for architecture, Joppe uses the facades of buildings to tell the stories behind them, delving into the social and cultural context in which they came into existence. He transmits the complex history of Valencia by bringing architectural monuments to life.
