Leslie Geddes is a PhD candidate in the Art & Archaeology department at Princeton University, specializing in Italian Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Originally from San Francisco, CA, she received her BA in art history from Columbia University. Before beginning her graduate studies, she worked for some years in contemporary art, running art galleries in San Francisco and Washington, DC. She first worked for Context in Florence while a recipient of a pre-doctoral fellowship at Harvard University\\'s Villa I Tatti. Currently in London researching and writing her dissertation on Leonardo da Vinci\\'s water studies, she makes plenty of time to savor the city\\'s many painting collections and relish its architectural landscape.
