Born in Bogotá and raised in Cartagena, Luis has spent his whole life living here and enjoying its friendly, warm, and creative culture. He's been very interested in the local history since he was in school, a passion which incited him to pursue studies in tourism at university. In 2013 he obtained an MA in history from the University of Cartagena. He remains linked to his Alma Mater as part of a semillero of investigation through which he participates in a radio program focused on historical subjects. As an urban historian, he specializes in the development of Colombia and Cartagena from prehispanic to the present day.
