Nicolas, like Byron’s Don Juan, was born and raised by the mighty Guadalquivir, under the shadow of the Giralda. A life-long lover of old books and obscure maps, Nicolas traveled the world from Lisbon to Manila in his younger years, studying the history of the Spanish empire and the origins of global trade.
