Noemi was born in Budapest and obtained a Ph.D. at ELTE University Faculty of Law. She received her Legum Magister diploma from Ruprecht Karls University in Heidelberg and was a post-doctoral fellow in Hamburg. As a lawyer for a California-based IT firm, she became familiar with the differences between the European and US legal practices and culture. After finishing the Academy of Hungarian Journalism she published articles discussing economy, politics and law, reflecting on the changes of the transition years in Hungary. She is an expert when writing and guiding about Budapest history and hidden treasures, particularly in light of the legal and social changes in the city.
