Yael is a native Roman and is a member of the Jewish Community of Rome and an official guide at the Jewish Museum. She studied History at Roma Tre University in Rome where she focused on international relations. At the Jewish Museum, she has participated in the creation of several exhibitions and catalogs about the Holocaust. She is passionate about the history and identity of her Community and has been leading tours at the Museum and the Jewish quarter since 2009.
