To bring "The Perfect Scoop" to life, David has selected Giolitti, one of the most well-known gelaterie in the city of Rome, as our starting point. A family run business since 1890, David will take us behind the scenes and into the kitchen, where we'll have a rare opportunity to view Giolitti's process for making their mouthwatering gelato. From here, we will set forth into the historic center, discovering the many facets of gelato as we make stops to learn and taste along the way.
This special event is part of our Out of Context series and will be held on June 7, 2010 at 2:45 pm.
