We had a terrific tour with Aidan, and all of us came away with a much clearer understanding of the Troubles -- and how they continue to affect Belfast today. He showed us different neighborhoods and the symbolism they use to reflect their political and religious views -- which we definitely wouldn't have understood if we'd been traveling on our own.

Rory crafted an absolutely unforgettable day out in Belfast. He masterfully balanced an exploration of the city’s architectural grandeur, its industrial peak (visiting the Titanic museum), with the deeply moving, complex history of the Troubles, visiting both the Falls and the Shankill Road. It is an essential experience for understanding how this resilient city transformed from a global industrial powerhouse into a modern cultural hub.
Aidan was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable and energetic. Truly wanted to make my experience perfect. And that he did!

Entry Requirements (ETIAS):
If you are traveling from the United States or another visa-exempt country, you should be aware of the upcoming ETIAS requirement. While not yet fully implemented, ETIAS will require travelers to apply online before visiting many European destinations. Although Northern Ireland is part of the UK (which has its own evolving entry systems), travelers combining Belfast with destinations in the Republic of Ireland or elsewhere in Europe should plan ahead and check requirements prior to departure.
