We lived this tour from start to finish. Our guide, Kevin, was so personable and knowledgeable we often felt like he was our local friend showing us the sights. But then the depth of knowledge and understanding made the history truly come alive. As we were walking through the last steps of the Easter Rising, it felt like we were becoming one with the past. Paired with our tour of Kilmainham Gaol the day before this was a perfect way to get a clear understanding of the background and history of the struggle and sacrifice for Irish independence.
