We took a half-day trip from Edinburgh to Glasgow and were so glad that we did! Peter did a great job showing us different aspects of the city- explaining the development through economic expansion largely fueled by slave trading and sugar. We got to see the architectural highlights and also ventured to see the University of Glasgow- which was like an entirely different city! Peter effortlessly blended the history, architecture, and information about modern day Glasgow. At the end of the tour, he graciously escorted us to the Celtic Glasgow team store to purchase souvenirs. Glasgow and Edinburgh are very different cities; it was interesting to see the contrast between them and viewing the countryside from the train was very lovely.

Don’t just take our word for it
Peter shared his extensive knowledge of Glasgow - its history and culture. We appreciated his taking us on the tube to explore more of the city.
Peter was fantastic! We had a lovely “introduction to Glasgow” tour. He leaned into our interest for art and was overall very knowledgeable about the historical ins and outs of the city. We discussed everything from architecture to paintings, and he even gave us local food recommendations. Would highly recommend.
