No, this tour does not include the Oskar Schindler Factory; we recommend that guests reserve tickets to the Schindler Factory Museum directly on their website to visit on their own time.
Does this tour discuss WWII history?
While discussion of the war may come up during the tour, this experience is primarily focused on the general Jewish history of Kazimierz dating back centuries. It would be unavoidable to gloss over this era of time, but it is not the sole focus of the tour. This tour does not include a visit to Podgórze, the former ghetto during WWII.
Is there a dress code to respect when we visit synagogues?
Yes, please come in clothing that covers the shoulders and knees. Alternatively, you can bring a scarf or another change of clothes that you can wear before entering the visit at the synagogues.
Is this tour suitable for clients with mobility issues?
Yes, both the Stara Synagogue and Galicia Jewish Museum are wheelchair accessible. However, the streets of Krakow may be cobbled and can be uneven. If you have any mobility concerns, please email us to let us know and we can ensure the tour is adapted to you.
Are there any changes to the tour during inclement weather?
The essence of the tour remains the same, but we might adjust the route slightly to spend less time in open areas during heavy rain.
