Domenico B.
What began as a love affair with Siena and the Chianti countryside became a life-defining decision: to relocate, study archaeology, and never leave. After completing his degree, he wove together his passions for history, art, and the natural environment into a career that is equal parts vocation and calling — working as both a licensed guide and a practising archaeologist.
He knows Siena the way only a resident can: every alley, every stone, every story layered beneath the surface. Over years of personal exploration — strolls, hikes, and dedicated research — he has uncovered trails throughout the Sienese parish that marry breathtaking landscapes with historically significant sites, offering experiences that simply cannot be found in a guidebook.
His tours are built on genuine expertise and firsthand knowledge.
Chianti and Brunello wines, local produce, archaeology, architecture, and centuries of art history are not treated as separate subjects but skilfully woven into a single, immersive narrative — one that reflects the true richness of this extraordinary corner of Tuscany.
He welcomes guests of all ages, and has a particular fondness for working with students. Their curiosity is unfiltered, their questions unpredictable — and in his experience, those are often the most rewarding exchanges of all.
