Elinor is an art historian from upstate New York with a passion for Parisian art and culture at the turn of the twentieth century. She is especially fascinated by the collectors, artists, and everyday characters whose stories helped make Paris an unparalleled center of art, culture, and commerce. She holds a master’s degree in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art, where she specialized in the history of collecting and curating European modern art. Having spent several years living and studying in France, Elinor has developed a deep appreciation for the country’s language, culture, and history. Her interests include collecting culture, cross-cultural exchange, industrialization, and the evolving role of women in modern Paris.
