Filippo B.
Filippo is an art historian specializing in Late Renaissance villa architecture. He holds an MA in Theoretical Philosophy from the University of Turin, following a period of research at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, and a second MA in Art History from the University of Genoa, where he lives and works.
He is currently pursuing an international PhD on sixteenth-century villas along the Ligurian Riviera, with a particular focus on the history and collecting activities of the Pallavicino family.
Over the years, he has collaborated with major Italian state museums, including the Musei Reali di Torino, the Residenze Reali Sabaude, and the Musei di Strada Nuova, specializing in projects devoted to the promotion, research, and enhancement of cultural heritage.
He greatly enjoys leading guided tours for curious and engaged audiences.
