Kate is an experienced researcher with a PhD in history from the University of York and an M.Litt in Art History from the University of St Andrews. Her research focuses on social history and she has particular interests in the history of clothing and food. She has lived in Edinburgh for the last eight years, working in public engagement for organisations such as the National Trust for Scotland and Holyrood Palace, translating research into tours, interpretation and events.
