About Mariana
Mariana was born and raised in Mexico City where. She studied History at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where she is currently finishing her master's degree, also in History. Mariana is a member of the research group Women's Writings, at the Research Institute of University and Education, whose mission is to rescue lesser-known women’s writings through editing and publishing. Mariana has a passion for learning and rethinking the past through different sources that help us imagine history in unexpected ways. She has taught history middle-school and high-school students. Her other passions include reading, writing and photography. Mariana is also co-creator and editor of the online magazine Pluvia, a space for inspiration, creativity, and conversation.
