Marie was born in Belgium. After obtaining her MA degree in French Linguistics and Literature from the University of Louvain, she started traveling and pursued her interest in history and literature by working in publishing in Canada, journalism in France and the United Kingdom, and within cultural organisations such as the National Trust in London, before becoming an Official Tour Guide in France. Marie has lived in North America and in the UK, and has now settled in Normandy. Her guiding work covers this beautiful region as well as Paris and the Loire valley. She specializes in the subjects of the arts and literature, history, gardens and gastronomy. She is fluent in English and French, and relishes every opportunity to share her enthusiasm for all things French.
